Welcome to The National Forest Company’s LANDshapes Archive!
The Archive contains a large compilation of collected works about many aspects of The National Forest. From cultural records to maps, historical sites and legal documents, the archive is an invaluable resource for anyone with an interest in The National Forest, its history and its people.
Although the Archive can no longer accept any new contributions, you can still search through the hundreds of entries that form a unique and significant collection.
The Archive remains a free-to-use resource and you don’t have to register for access.
The project officially ended in June 2006 and LANDshapes would like to thank everyone who has contributed. In doing so you have helped to build a dynamic picture of the fascinating heritage of the National Forest area, and your contributions will continue to help in bringing the past to life, for people everywhere.
