| Detailed Description |
This walk commences at The Green, Markfield, then goes to the trig point at Hill Hole Nature Reserve and descends into the quarry workings. The route then takes in Hill Lane, Alter Stones Lane and goes into Blacksmith's Field and the rocky site of the Altar Stones. You return via the old Post Mill and then Hill Lane, the nature reserve and the Green to arrive back at St. Michael's and All Angels Church. |
