| Children from Mrs. Sutcliffe’s class at Hartshorne Church of England Primary School were the last of the schools within the area covered by the National Forest to complete their ‘LITTLE LANDshapes’ Oral History project.
Two guests, Mrs. Jenny Burley and Mr. Doug Jenkinson answered the children’s questions about the locality and heard how, at one time, Hartshorne was considered to be more important than Swadlincote.
They also heard about changes to the school over the years which have made it a much nicer place in which to learn.
