There were so many children eager to take part in the LITTLE LANDshapes Oral history project that the recording had to be made in the school hall!
Two classes from the school were combined for the recording session where Mr.Dennis Freeman, a local speaker with a huge knowledge of the town and its history answered the questions which the children had prepared earlier.
Drawings of favourite places in and around Melbourne can be seen at the links above along with audio clips which accompany some of the pictures.
A CD of the recording is to be given to the school in the near future. |
