| Children in Mrs. Powell’s class have recently taken part in the LITTLE LANDshapes Oral History Project for schools.
The children worked hard to write questions for their classroom guest, Mr. Walton who is Mrs. Powell’s father. He’s lived and worked in the area for most of his life and answered their questions on a variety of topics such as transport, school friends and leisure activities.
The classroom ‘Question Time’ was recorded by our Oral History producer, Dave Kitto and a CD of the event will shortly be presented to the school for its archives.
The children’s drawings, depicting their favourite place in the National Forest can be seen at the Gallery links above.
