John Taylor High School's True Noon Project
Jackson’s Bank, Needwood
Students at John Taylor High School were shown a DVD of the site of Jackson’s Bank, which is one of the six sites chosen for the David Nash Sculptures. Reflecting the surrounding woodland, the Needwood column will retain the shape of a tree.
The students were asked to draw some inspiration from the site and come up with designs using Willow.
Day 1 - Drawing and designing the sculpture and making a start on the piece.

Day 2 - Finishing off the piece
